Is there an expiration date on Gems?

If you start new gameplay on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or Steam, and you had selected Japan as your country of choice, paid Gems purchased from the Gem Shop will expire in 180 days. Gems will not expire for all other countries.
