What happens to players who become free agents?

Players that moved to FREE after an update cannot be obtained through Scouting or Trades but already obtained players can be continued to be used.
If the trade offer came before the update, the trade can be made.
If the player is eligible for a Scout Challenge, the challenge can be completed without the said player.
