What is the lock symbol on the Player Details screen?

The lock icon symbol indicates that the player has been locked.

You can lock selected players from [PLAYERS] > [LIST] > [Menu icon] > [MULTIPLE LOCK]

It's a good idea to lock important players as it protects them from accidentally being released for Coins and EXP.
